I have three and unless Adonai causes a miracle....I am done
My husband and I just had this conversation yesterday. We both agree that we would like to have three children, however we both know that number may change as we actually have children.
i'm thinking 2-3. i really want twins... i don't know why haha
We have 2 a boy and a girl.. we plan on having baby #3 in a few years.. and more than likely will be our last baby
Three. It is just wrong to have more or less. Also, they must be conceived naturally and out of love. You sell your soul to the devil by using medically enhanced conception. If God trusts you to be a parent He will insure conception. If you want to make God laugh (or cry) tell him your plans. You are, however, free to adopt in order to reach the ideal (three) number of children.
My parents had three and my husbands parents had four. That said, I wanted two children and he wants four... We have our two and it happened exactly how I wanted, boy then girl. Now I'm thinking I might like one more but the teeny, tiny logical part of me convinces me that we can't handle it and things are perfect the way they are.
PansyFaye, you're crazy.
we have four. i love it. i'm busy, but happy. it's hard work being a parent... with one, two, three or four! we'd love to adopt in a few years and i think unless we feel led to do otherwise, we will stop with five.
four or five are great numbers for our family... both my husband and i are in agreement. i think that's the key- agreement. :)
I'd love to have 4 children. but even one would be a blessing.
I love children.
Ideal?? There were 4 of us growing up together, so I would like a big family and I love kids, but financially that's probably not ideal for us right now. We have 1 already, and 1 on the way. We'd like another if things work out. Yup, that would be 3...like everyone else right?
We have 2 now and would like to have one more. I think 3 is good but that is because I grew up with 2 sisters and loved it. I don't want any more than 3 because I am not sure that I could handle it.
We're hoping for 4. We'll see what actually happens! :)
two!
but aww ! Jon & Kate Plus 8! <3
... I think the ideal number of children to have is one less child than you think you can afford to raise on your own........ ~Echo
@echois23@xanga - Interesting plan. I like it :)
I have three girls, I wouldn't mind five kids but we're done at three.
My ideal is 2, just because that's how I grew up, and it seems normal. Of course my ideal is also a boy and a girl (again, how I grew up), and I know that God is going to laugh when he gives me two boys, because I really want at least one girl. I told my husband that if I have two boys I'm having another one until I get a girl. With my luck, I'll end up with four boys, lol. (I have no children now, btw)
Between hubby and myself, we have eight. Ideally, one would have been fantastic.
Just kidding. I wouldn't trade our large family for all the chocolate in the world. Well, perhaps if it was Godvia I could think on it for a bit.
Two. Any more than that (especially in the developed world) puts too much of a burden on the planet.
I don't plan on having any. Someone has to offset people like the Duggars and "octomom".
I Love Jon and Kate!!! We hope to adopt 1 or 2 some day!
Not as many as Jon&Kate
but I want two.
three at the most.
I plan on having two or three.
We have one, but we're hoping for one more soon! Then I'm done. Clip those tubes, I'm done!!
I used to want to have two kids, one boy one girl. Now I think one is enough.
But then again, it will all depends on our financial situation, how much money we have to raise a kid. I don't want to have two kids just because and then realize we don't have money for both of them. I want to make sure everything is settled and prepared, then have kids.
Hey! We can't play God! God decides when we have kids, and when we don't. He'll provide the finances we need when we need them. Do you people have no faith? Every child is a blessing from the Lord. I live in a big family, so I know.
I think people should only have four, tops; but I'm not their boss or anything so I can't tell them that to have 14 or 18 kids is selfish.
We've decided on two. We'll see where we go after that.
