Mama Hippo I just read an article in a gossip magazine talking about Angelina Jolie's cover for W magazine, where she's shown breastfeeding one of her twins. Actually, no, the picture doesn't SHOW anything, but it insinuates that she's breastfeeding. This cover has been called "Shocking! Revealing!" and is clearly quite controversial.
I can't for the life of me figure out why.
First of all, this is Angelina Jolie. If there's anything shocking about this photo, it should be how shockingly normal it is.
Second, it's not very revealing. Any cover of Glamour or Cosmo magazine has more cleavage than what Angie's showing. Heck, I have a science magazine that shows a baby breastfeeding and is more revealing than the W cover photo.
I guess we as a culture are still trying to fight this idea that breastfeeding is "icky" and shouldn't be seen by anyone other than the baby and mother.

Well, what can I say? That's Angelina Jolie in the cover and that alone speaks something. I wonder if she was wearing some kind of breast pasties coz I don't think the picture was that revealing, nor I don't think she's breastfeeding.
