Pope Strawberry Teething?
Man, Baby Platypus is going through some rough times. Every few days she's been waking up in the middle of the night so then I'd pick her up and bring her into bed with us. Then for the rest of the evening she proceeds to toss and turn and make her whiney noises "eh eh eh eh eh eh eh..." Finally at about 6:30 or 7 I'd wake and feed her her bottle and then the girl is knocked out.
How convenient! Why, that's the time that mommy and daddy have to go to work. I'm friggin tired. I bet you a bajillion dollars the hubs is tired as well. I think she's teething. We put orajel on her before she goes to bed and she hates it and makes this face and then some sort of high pitched wail. Oh and dude, girl can SCREAM. Like hello? Can we say deafening? I'm always like "GEEZE! OKAY OKAY!!!"Her shelf finally went up. I just ordered some wall art and am waiting for that to arrive. Everything is slowly falling into place. Till my next update here are some photos I took of Baby Platypus last Sunday. I needed a break from all the house crap so I went to church and dressed her in the outfit her Aunt S sent her from Korea.

I cannot believe she's hitting 6 months next week. Time flies soooo fast when you have a baby!Do your babies wake up in the middle of the night when they're teething? What do you do to comfort them and help them get back to sleep?

When my baby wakes up with teething pains, the best thing I've found for her is to hug her close and let her nurse. I've heard the sucking helps with the pain and it's comforting too. She will usually go back to sleep for another hour or so before waking up screaming again.
Yes my daughter, you too may join our church
she is so adorable!
You always have the cutest pictures on here!
I give mine tylenol and it seems to help alot.
that hat is soo cute!
Teething sucks!! I think M is only on tooth 10 or 11? It's been cutting the gums for the longest time and at night she lets out these high pitched screams as well. She's like still out, but I guess feels the pain. We haven't tried Orajel with her because an old classmate used it for her daughter and her daughter wouldn't have it. So she tried some on herself, and she says it sting like anything. If M does wake up, I normally give her a cold teething ring, and a little Tylenol always seems to help.
omg how cute! she looks like a strawberry! my cousin's baby used to wake her up in the middle of the night... but she's not very experienced, as old as she is... i think the baby sleeps just fine now. it takes a while to get used to a sleeping pattern i think, but it's natural.
Hylands teething tab's are homeopathic, don't have the harsh taste of Orajel and WORK!!! Go buy some. Also, rub her gums (with a clean finger of course, or a frozen washcloth) before bed. That helps!!
