Bumbo Baby Seat
Two weeks ago we tried out her Bumbo. She looked so cute in it and then her head slowly started tilting fwd. "She's not ready yet," said the hubs. Last week I traded her mint green one in for a pink (I really wish they had orange) and put her in it again. A lot better but she likes to hang out on her left side more than the right it seems.

Friday evening she took a nap and woke up and supervised me as I washed her bottles.
I know you're not supposed to put them on an elevated surface but since she just started sitting in it she doesn't really move around since she's still getting used to it. Plus I was with her so calm down and don't get your panties in a bunch over this.Anyone else have a Bumbo baby seat (or equivalent)? Did/does your baby enjoy sitting in it, and when did he or she outgrow it?

We have one. I remember putting D in it when he was about 3 months. It was only for 5 minutes as I could tell he was really struggling to keep his torso and head straight but OH MY GOD IT WAS HILARIOUS. He now (at 6 months) sits in it much better, although he still scoots over to one side like that, usually trying to reach out for something on the floor. I got him the tray to go with it, too, and he likes to slap it with his hands. I used the chair and tray to feed him apples for the first time today. Went pretty well. =)
Yep, we have two bumbos - one in our place and one at grandma's. Damian watches me do dishes too. He gets bored though.
Oh man, I need to get one of these for Lily Rose! This looks great!
My baby loved hers too but she was too fat and couldn't sit in it past 4 or 5 months. Still she really loved to sit at the table with us while we ate. Yep, we set ours on a chair, also on our couch, probably everywhere except flat on the ground!
Oohhh that's neat. Is it expensive? I've never seen one before. Probably due to the fact that our little one isn't here just yet :)

i have one but my son will only sit there for a few minutes. He's 9 months now and still fits in it but he can pretty much sit up on his own now and doesnt need it unless i want him at the dinner table watching us eat. ( WE STILL DON'T HAVE A HIGHCHAIR)
We didn't have one, but were thinking about getting one. By the time we were deciding on getting it, she was already too mobile. They grow way too fast.
