New Finds
by Mama LionI just got this new tinted moisturizer by Laura Mercier. I've heard pretty good stuff about it and I wanted something that had SPF, moisturizer, and a little bit of coverage in one:
I love how it comes in oil free too! I just put this on my face and I'm good to go. It doesn't have GREAT coverage, but it does take the red out and makes my skin all monotone, plus it doesn't make me break out. This is a great product for MOMS who don't have time to do all those additional steps.
Speaking of breaking out. When we went to Vegas my skin was MAGICALLY clearing up and it was starting to look really good. Once I came home...BAM! Pimples start popping up here and there. AUGH!!! Must be due to the lack of sleep.
I've also been using this product by Dr. Brandt since January and after using it for 4 months, I must say that I do see some improvement. I was STARTING to see some development of fine lines so decided to give this a try and I don't think I see any at all now =D
Have you tried these products? Are there any other beauty products you'd recommend to busy moms?

Try using hydrogen peroxide as a toner twice a day. Stay away from the ones with witch hazel or alcohol - they tend to dry out your skin and then your skin produces double the amount. When I travel to Vegas I end up losing weight! Must be all the walking and the fact the food is so good, I only eat one big meal a day.
I use Proactive- it works great for me! But I've been thinking of not having to pay $60 a month for it and just breaking down and buying the store stuff- so thanks for this! Now I can see what I might look for! You always give o0ut great things to think about. I'm glad we're friends. hehe
I'll make a mental note. Right now I'm using a Neutrogena moisturizer with an SPF of 30 that I really like, it's not too oily and a little goes a long way.
i'm been wanting to try the laura mercier tinted moisturizer. i've been so lazy about taking care of myself since becoming a mommy. i've tried a sample of the stila tinted moisturizer, benefit you rebel tinted moisturizer, and also dr brandt's tinted moisturizer. so far dr brandt's is the best! =)
